Oracle Launches 25 AI Agent Apps for Finance, HR and Supply Chain

Oracle Launches 25 AI Agent Apps for Finance, HR and Supply Chain

Oracle just rolled out 25 new Oracle AI agents in its Fusion Cloud business software, built on a new engine called Fusion Claw. Announced at Oracle AI World in Las Vegas on Monday, the apps are meant to handle real work in finance, HR, supply chain and customer service, while people keep control of approvals.

If your company runs on Oracle, or you simply follow where business AI agents are heading, this launch shows how the biggest enterprise software vendors want software to work. Instead of clicking through screens, you describe a goal and let AI do the steps.

What Oracle Announced at AI World

Oracle’s pitch is a shift from software that records work to software that does the work. It calls the new products Fusion Agentic Applications, and says people set the objectives, authority and accountability while the apps coordinate the process.

The announcement has three main parts, which work together inside Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.

  • Fusion Agentic Applications: 25 ready-to-use apps across ERP, HCM, supply chain and customer experience.
  • Fusion Companion and Fusion Agentic Home: new ways to state a goal, hand it to AI and track progress.
  • AI Agent Studio: a toolkit for customers and partners to build and manage their own agents.

Oracle also introduced a public repository of AI skills meant to speed up software setup and configuration.

How Fusion Claw Powers Agentic Applications

Fusion Claw is the execution engine under the new apps. Oracle describes it as a runtime built for larger, longer-running jobs, with continuous replanning, deterministic execution and what it calls governed autonomy.

In plain terms, an agent can keep working on a big task, adjust its plan when something changes, and still follow fixed rules for calculations. Oracle says this lets the apps take on specialist-grade work at scale instead of simple one-step chores.

Examples of the new agent apps

Agent appAreaWhat it does
LedgerFinanceReconciles entries and investigates accounting exceptions to help close the books faster
Workforce OrchestrationHRBuilds workforce plans that balance demand, cost and hiring or redeployment options
Payroll Activity WorkspaceHR and financeCompares pay against prior periods and flags material variances
Supply Planning AllocationSupply chainCompares ways to split scarce materials and capacity across demand
Procurement SpendSupply chainFinds maverick spend and contract leakage and sizes the savings
Service Health CheckCustomer serviceSpots emerging service problems and prepares fixes for review

Oracle says every one of these prepares recommendations for review and then acts only on approved steps, within the authority an organization sets.

Fusion Companion and the Agentic Home

Fusion Companion is the layer that connects people to all this. Oracle says it lets users work with Fusion Applications through supported AI tools such as ChatGPT. It uses business context, data and each user’s permissions to pick the right transactions, workflows, approvals and agents for a goal.

Fusion Agentic Home is the matching workspace. You define a business objective, delegate it to agents, and follow progress until the work is done. Oracle adds that the Companion can also pull context from other enterprise systems and coordinate authorized actions there, while respecting security rules.

Why Enterprise AI Agents Matter Now

Business software is crowded with agent announcements, and Oracle’s move puts more pressure on rivals. Our earlier look at how AI agents replace older integration tools shows the same trend from another angle. Oracle’s stock rose about 1 percent on the day, according to market reports.

The key question for buyers is control. Oracle stresses approvals, policies and accountability, a theme also seen in agent governance efforts elsewhere in the industry.

What This Means for You

Most readers will not buy an ERP suite this week, but the direction matters for anyone who works with business tools.

  • If you use Oracle Fusion at work, ask your administrator which of the 25 apps apply to your team and how approvals will work.
  • If you manage finance, HR or procurement, look at the repetitive reviews your team does every month. Those are the likeliest targets for agents.
  • If you are choosing software, compare how each vendor limits what agents can do on their own. Read our list of top AI tools for business for more options.
  • If you already use ChatGPT at work, expect more business systems to plug into it through connectors like Fusion Companion.

Keep in mind these are vendor claims from a launch event. Real results will depend on your data, your rules and how well the agents handle messy cases.

Conclusion

Oracle is betting that business software will soon be judged by the outcomes it delivers, not the screens it offers. With 25 agent apps, a new engine and a ChatGPT-friendly companion, the company has made its case at AI World. The proof will come from customers who test how much work the agents can safely take over.
